Position Overview:
The Engineering Co-op role focuses on supporting outsourcing efforts related to machined components, weldments, sheet metal, mechanical assemblies, and cable/wire harnessing.

Key Responsibilities:
- Address vendor inquiries concerning specifications for outsourced assemblies and components.
- Assist in coordinating and promoting initiatives aimed at reducing component costs.
- Collaborate with Design Engineering to rectify drawings and propose enhancements for Design for Manufacturability.
- Create Change Notices to amend or enhance Engineering documentation.
- Identify and select alternative components (both mechanical and electrical) in response to parts obsolescence.
- Research and choose substitute parts to mitigate critical supply chain challenges.

Qualifications:
This position typically requires a High School diploma along with 2-4 years of relevant experience.
