Job Summary:

Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will assist in the direction of nursing services for our unit, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with the direction of nursing services and delegating tasks to professional nurses and non-professional nursing personnel
  • Observing patients for symptoms and reactions, and reporting any changes to the attending physician
  • Implementing changes in orders as instructed by physicians
  • Performing other duties as assigned
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • A current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing
  • Ability to work as a charge nurse and provide quality nursing care to patients
  • CPR certification
  • Ability to attend in-service training and staff meetings as required
