Job Summary

We are seeking a licensed PD&E/Roadway Engineer to join our Transportation Business Group in Jacksonville, FL. The successful candidate will serve in a technical role under the direction of a Project Manager, overseeing the engineering development of urban and rural highway/roadway projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed engineering designs and concept plans for roadway, highway, and multimodal projects
  • Participate in activities ranging from site feasibility analysis and concept design to final design and through the construction phase
  • Assume some project management duties and interact with clients as needed
  • Perform other duties as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or other engineering discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • PD&E project experience
  • Experience with Geopak, LDD, or other 3D CAD design software
  • InRoads or Open Roads Designer experience
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Hands-on experience with Highways and Roads CAD engineering software
  • MS Office knowledge
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or other engineering discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • PD&E project experience
  • Experience with Geopak, LDD, or other 3D CAD design software
  • InRoads or Open Roads Designer experience
  • Preference given to local candidates
