Job Summary

This position is responsible for assisting providers in the delivery of orthopedic care, including applying casts to patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of orthopedic procedures and be able to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply, adjust, and remove casts, splints, and immobilization devices
  • Communicate instructions to patients regarding pre- and post-operative care
  • Document information into patient records systems accurately and completely
  • Order, track, and maintain product inventory
  • Maintain a clean, functional environment

Requirements

  • Current Registered Orthopedic Technologist (ROT) Certification from the American Society of Orthopedic Professionals (ASOP)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
