The position offers flexible hours ranging from 30 to 40 hours per week, depending on the candidate's availability.

About Our Institution

Stretch the Imagination is a community of early childhood professionals dedicated to nurturing young minds and building a supportive environment for all children. New educators will collaborate with a team of committed professionals and engage in meaningful partnerships with parents and students. Our curriculum is inquiry-based, evolving through project work, and emphasizes teamwork among educators. Teachers are provided with dedicated time away from direct instruction to collaborate, reflect on practices, and enhance the curriculum. We also prioritize outdoor exploration, with classes spending time in natural settings.

Key Responsibilities

As an educator, you will:

  • Implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum for a group of 12-16 children aged two to three years.
  • Participate in weekly team meetings and co-teach with your colleagues.
  • Engage in monthly faculty meetings to align on educational goals.
  • Collaborate with your teaching team to ensure the curriculum aligns with our mission and educational philosophy.
  • Enjoy autonomy in your classroom while receiving support from mentor teachers and administrative staff.
