Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Professional Nurse to join our team in the Pre-Operative department. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working independently to plan and deliver nursing services in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Plan and provide professional nursing care to patients, adhering to established guidelines and the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs and preferences.
- Monitor and report patient progress, making adjustments to care plans as necessary.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the advancement of nursing practices and patient care.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
- Minimum of two (2) years of full-time experience as a RN post-orientation or post-residency training.
- Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
- Additional education, competencies, and/or certification required as a condition of employment, as specified by the clinical unit.
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN degree preferred.
- National Certification in Clinical Specialty preferred.
