Leadership Role for Chief Anesthesiologist in the Scenic Tampa Bay Area
Envision Physician Services is in search of a skilled Anesthesiologist with exceptional leadership capabilities to take on the role of Chief of Anesthesia at AdventHealth Wesley Chapel. Candidates should possess a minimum of 3-5 years of experience, with prior leadership experience being highly desirable. This full-time position offers the chance to become part of a well-established team comprising 6 physicians and 26 anesthetists. The practice has been operational for over 30 years and provides a comprehensive range of anesthesia services, excluding trauma and transplant cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee scheduling of anesthesia services
- Facilitate staff development initiatives
- Assist in recruitment processes, including interviewing and attending recruitment events
- Act as a liaison with hospital administration
- Serve as a clinical resource within the department and hospital
- Engage in leadership and professional development activities
- Conduct performance evaluations
- Guide the orientation and onboarding of new staff members
