We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Nurse Extern PRN Behavioral Health to join our team at Parham Doctors' Hospital.

Your Role
As a Nurse Extern PRN, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, providing direct and indirect patient care while assisting the nursing staff in delivering exceptional patient experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- You will assist with patient mobility, transfer patients to and from other units/departments, and help maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and families.
- You will translate complex medical terminology into clear and concise language, ensuring that patients/families/caregivers understand their medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and possible side effects.
- You will educate patients/families/caregivers on healthy diet, exercise, disease prevention, and lifestyle changes needed upon discharge.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled and in good standing in an accredited school of nursing is required.
- Possess the ability to create and implement a personal career development plan, reviewed regularly by your supervisor or preceptor.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
