Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Youth Psychiatrist to become a vital part of our Behavioral Health team.

Bozeman Health is expanding its services and is in need of skilled psychiatrists to enhance our patient care capabilities.

The role includes opportunities for inpatient psychiatric consultations and outpatient clinic responsibilities. The ideal candidate should have completed an ACGME accredited psychiatry residency. While 3-5 years of post-residency experience is preferred, it is not mandatory. Experience in integrated behavioral health settings and familiarity with the collaborative care model is advantageous.

Work Schedule and Responsibilities:
The new inpatient unit will be situated within our healthcare facility, supported by a team of nursing and therapeutic professionals. Standard working hours are anticipated to be Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with shared on-call duties among the psychiatric staff (approximately 1:5). Common mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, substance use disorders, and psychosis will be addressed in this unit.

Our integrated health system also features senior living options, outpatient services, a same-day surgery center, clinical research initiatives, and retail care services.

The facility is equipped with 105 beds, including 8 operating rooms, a 20-bed critical care unit, and a 25-bed emergency department, handling approximately 28,000 emergency visits annually.

Bozeman Health is dedicated to serving patients across all age groups and has recently enhanced its facilities for women and children.

The hospital holds a level III ACS Trauma Center designation and is accredited by DNV. Our medical staff comprises around 260 physicians across a diverse range of specialties.
