Key Responsibilities- Clinical Practice: Utilize the nursing process to provide safe and quality patient care, documenting all interactions and interventions.
- Education: Provide patient and family education, serving as a resource for existing staff and new employees.
- Communication: Maintain effective communication with multidisciplinary team members to ensure holistic patient care.
- Customer Relations: Project a caring, friendly, and helpful image to patients and other customers.
- Self-Development: Maintain competency by staying informed of changing trends in nursing practice.
- Licenses/Certifications: Must be licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Mississippi.
- CPR Certification: Must maintain a current ACR or AHA CPR Certification.
- Additional Certifications: ACLS, PALS, ASLS, and NIH Stroke Scale Certification may be required depending on the hiring department.
