Role Summary:
The Custodial Student Employee will play a vital role in supporting the daily functions of the Custodial Department.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Act as a representative of our mission, vision, and strategic service initiatives.
  2. Comply with organizational policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
  3. Operate cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners, rider vacuums, and floor scrubbers.
  4. Assist with room arrangements, waste disposal, restroom sanitation, and stairwell cleaning.
  5. Undertake additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with students, faculty, administrators, and community members.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma is required.
  • Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous.

Work Environment:

  • This position primarily involves outdoor work.
  • Tasks are performed both independently and collaboratively within a team setting, with ongoing communication with supervisors.
  • Physical demands include walking, standing, bending, climbing, and lifting heavy materials or equipment.
  • Exposure to heat, dust, and noise may occur.
  • Work schedules may vary based on departmental needs.
