Overview of Responsibilities:

  • Assist existing customers, contractors, and the sales team.
  • Collaborate with customers on product selection, order placement, pricing inquiries, and delivery scheduling.
  • Prepare bids and material estimates based on provided blueprints.
  • Create invoices, work orders, and sales tickets.
  • Input and manage orders efficiently.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  • Some college education in Business or Construction Management preferred, or 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in the building materials or construction industry is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with various product lines and procedures, with the ability to confidently quote prices and present products.
  • Ability to read blueprints and provide material estimates.
  • Strong oral communication and interpersonal skills; a true team player.
  • Capability to maintain and enhance positive customer relationships.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, with strong mathematical skills and knowledge of building materials.
  • Proficient in MS Office and quick to learn proprietary software.
