We are seeking a qualified Pediatric Anesthesiologist to join our team at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, as a per diem Assistant Professor, Non-Tenure Track. The successful candidate will provide on-site anesthesia services to pediatric patients at University Hospital, intraoperative teaching of residents, and participate in various divisional/departmental/institutional initiatives and activities.
Responsibilities:- Provide on-site anesthesia services to pediatric patients in the Main Operating Rooms and Same-Day-Surgery ORs
- Provide intraoperative teaching of residents
- Participate in divisional/departmental/institutional initiatives and activities
- Complete medical records and charge submissions within specified timeframes
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Chair
- Board certified with subspecialty in Pediatric Anesthesia
- Ability to work collaboratively with surgical services and residents
- Excellent communication and teaching skills
