We are seeking an Assembly Specialist - Metal Detection to join our second shift Metal Detection team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling industrial metal detectors, including coil winding, potting, and installation of waterproof liners.

The Assembly Specialist will report directly to the supervisor/leadman and will be responsible for:

  • Assembling/winding MD coil assemblies to meet established standards.
  • Performing assembly work in metal detectors as directed.
  • Training and guiding junior employees to perform at a high level within the department.
  • Laying out, drilling, tapping, cutting, grinding, etc. as required.
  • Performing other similar and related duties as assigned.

Estimated Salary: $17.45/hr.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing environments is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documents.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical assembly and electrical components.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
