Job Summary:

Ascension Wisconsin is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at Sacred Heart Rehab in Mequon, WI. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a physical therapist to provide physical therapy interventions to patients. This is a part-time position, 16 hours/week, with the option for some weekday coverage.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct medically prescribed physical therapy under the supervision of a physical therapist.
  • Provide physical therapy interventions under a plan of care written by a physical therapist.
  • Perform therapy interventions utilizing techniques and skills as appropriate for the treatment interventions given.
  • May coordinate activities of physical therapy aides, students, and other support personnel.

Requirements:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Licensed Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy Assistant obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
