As a Developmental Pediatrics Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in our interdisciplinary team dedicated to providing comprehensive care for children with developmental and behavioral disorders.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our experienced physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized plans of care for children with complex needs. Your expertise in managing specific developmental and behavioral disorders will be essential in ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality care.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans for children with developmental and behavioral disorders, in collaboration with supervising physicians.
  • Manage a wide range of conditions, including ADHD, Autism, Behavior Disorders, Learning Disabilities, and Intellectual Disabilities, as well as medically complex children with developmental delays.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of health screening programs for infants, children, and adolescents to identify at-risk developmental and behavioral problems.
  • Engage in academic activities and have access to outstanding educational opportunities as part of an academic institution.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A current license as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Family Nurse Practitioner.
  • Experience in developmental pediatrics, preferably with a focus on autism spectrum disorder.
  • A current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
