Position Summary: The Residential Mortgage Loan Specialist will collaborate closely with a team of Loan Officers, playing an essential role in guiding clients through the mortgage process. The ideal candidate should possess the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, oversee a pipeline of 25-30 loans, and navigate the loan process from initial registration to final closing. Key Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience in loan processing

  • Outstanding organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate loan applications for accuracy and completeness, ensuring alignment with system entries
  • Collect and review loan documentation from clients for thoroughness before submission to underwriting
  • Confirm the accuracy and completeness of all received loan documents
  • Assess credit reports and Automated Underwriting System (AUS) findings
  • Guarantee compliance across all loan transactions
  • Prepare loan files for initial disclosures and final approval, ensuring all documentation is organized for a seamless closing
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, third-party partners, and referral sources
  • Ensure timely provision of all necessary disclosures to clients
  • Build long-term relationships with clients and lending partners through exceptional service
  • Support Loan Officers as needed
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
