Job Summary
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team in the Progressive Care Unit. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide professional nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process and collaborate with other members of the healthcare delivery team to deliver quality healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring patient conditions.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Conduct patient assessments, identify nursing diagnoses, and develop individualized care plans.
- Implement and evaluate the effectiveness of care plans, making adjustments as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements
- Associate Degree, Diploma in Nursing, or BSN.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Texas.
- ACLS certification upon hire or within 60 days of hire.
- Ability to speak Spanish.
- Acute care experience preferred.
