The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Primary Care is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients and their families. This role emphasizes a patient-centered approach, ensuring that care is tailored to meet the diverse needs of individuals based on their age, gender, culture, and socio-economic background.
Work Schedule:
Full-time position requiring 35 hours per week with a day shift schedule:
- Monday: 8am - 5pm
- Tuesday: 7am - 6pm
- Wednesday: 8am - 5pm
- Thursday: CLOSED
- Friday: 8am - 6pm
Key Responsibilities:
The LPN will:
- Utilize the nursing process to assess and address the health needs of patients.
- Provide compassionate and safe nursing care in accordance with established standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications:
Applicants must possess:
- A valid license as a Practical Nurse in the State of Connecticut.
- A degree from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Demonstrated ability to perform nursing tasks competently and compassionately.
- Experience in a physician's office setting is preferred.
