At Madison Reed Hair Color Bar, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensed Colorist to join our team. As a Licensed Colorist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional hair color services to our guests, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty to our brand.

• Provide consultations and services to guests, including shampooing, conditioning, styling, and chemical services.
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Madison Reed's products and services, including our hair care products and unlimited roots memberships.
• Work collaboratively with the team to achieve monthly sales goals and other key performance indicators.
• Ensure the Hair Color Bar meets company standards for cleanliness, merchandising, inventory, and asset security.
• Adhere to Madison Reed's systems, policies, processes, and procedures.
• Drive Hair Color Bar revenue through upselling and cross-selling services, memberships, and products.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on Madison Reed's products and services.
• Support the training and development of Assistant Colorists.

• Active cosmetology license in the state where you are applying.
• At least 1 year of experience as a colorist behind the chair in a salon environment.
• Effective communication, problem-solving, and people skills in a fast-paced retail or salon environment.
• Comfortable operating point-of-sale systems.

While performing the duties of this position, team members will regularly stand, walk for four plus consecutive hours; repetitive and regular bending and twisting at the waist; manipulating fingers and hands, bend and reach wrists and arms, reach with hands and arms or move up to ten pounds. May occasionally sit, kneel, stoop, crouch, and lift, push, pull up to ten pounds. Additionally, team members will communicate regularly with guests via ongoing conversations and consultations.
