About the Job

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team at Sutter Health.

This is a full-time position that requires a graduate of a Cardiovascular Technologist program and certification in BLS, ACLS, CRT, RHF, ARRT, RCIS, CVT, CCT, or RVT. Additionally, PALS certification may be required depending on the department.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will provide support to cardiologists and registered nurses in the Cardiac Catheter Lab, executing procedures and analyzing results. They will also educate patients and their families, interact with healthcare providers, and maintain confidentiality and patient safety.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain confidence and cooperation from patients and their support groups through effective communication and patient assessment. You will work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and professionally. In-depth knowledge of cardiac catheterization testing, mechanics, and equipment is essential, along with a general understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

You will also need to prioritize assignments, work within standardized policies and scientific methods, and achieve objectives while meeting deadlines. A basic understanding of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite and picture archiving and communication system (PACS) software, is also necessary.

Work Environment

This position requires working in a fast-paced environment with interruptions, identifying, evaluating, and resolving standard problems using established options. You will build collaborative relationships with peers and other healthcare providers to achieve departmental and corporate objectives.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $69.13 to $86.40 per hour, with the potential for relocation and sign-on bonuses. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, health insurance, and retirement plans.
