- Answer mental health hotline calls, managing high-risk situations and utilizing crisis intervention skills.
- Conduct remote clinical assessments with students to evaluate the seriousness of presenting problems and provide in-the-moment support.
- Develop treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
- Consult with faculty and school administrators to address special needs of diverse student populations.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- LMHC, LMSW, LCSW, PsyD, or PhD in Social Work or Psychology.
- Post-graduate experience in crisis response, college mental health, short-term counseling, and group therapy preferred.
- Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and experience working with diverse populations required.
- NY State license or eligibility (limited permit).
Salary and Benefits:
The hourly rate for this position is $60/hour.
