Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tractor Trailer Driver to transport products from our warehouse to various customers, ensuring timely delivery and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Safely transport products from the warehouse to customer locations, adhering to assigned routes and company standards

• Unload products from trailers, using hand carts or other equipment as needed, in all weather conditions

• Pick up, load, and unload damaged goods and customer returns, transporting them back to the warehouse

• Complete all necessary paperwork, including DOT electronic or manual logs, inspections, and vehicle maintenance reports

• Ensure all food safety protocols are met, maintaining sanitary conditions in the delivery vehicle and warehouse

• Develop and maintain good relationships with customers through excellent service and clear communication

• Communicate with management team regarding any issues or concerns

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent, plus 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience (completion of a tractor trailer driving school will be accepted instead of a high school diploma)

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

• Must be insurable to operate a vehicle

• Knowledge of DOT regulations, Hazmat guidelines, and safe lifting and delivery practices

• Ability to drive a tractor-trailer unit in various weather conditions and remain alert and aware of surroundings

• Physical ability to lift, push, or move product up to 50 pounds, and push/pull up to 350 pounds with a 2-wheeled hand cart

Working Conditions:

• Overnight schedule, including weekends, holidays, and overtime

• Exposure to wet, hot, extreme cold, and/or humid conditions

• Moving mechanical parts and confined spaces

• Moderate noise level
