Position Summary

JOB TITLE: Automotive Service Technician

Key Responsibilities:

As an Automotive Service Technician at Christian Brothers Automotive, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Performing maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and suspension alignments.
    • Adhering to all company policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook and any updates provided.
    • Maintaining a positive attitude and fostering teamwork at all times.
    • Representing the organization with professionalism, demonstrating honesty, integrity, and respect in all interactions.
    • Complying with all OSHA safety regulations and local, state, and federal guidelines regarding shop safety and hazardous materials.
    • Assisting with cleanliness and organization of the workspace as directed by management.
    • Inspecting vehicles and discussing findings with service writers or managers, providing repair recommendations and necessary parts lists based on industry standards.
    • Conducting thorough courtesy inspections on all vehicles with customer approval.
    • Ensuring all maintenance inspections and reports are accurate and complete.
    • Utilizing hydraulic jacks or lifts safely to access mechanical components beneath vehicles.
Qualifications:

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
This is an entry-level position. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
