Job Title: Senior Systems Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join our team at Technology Resource Experts, LLC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining operational data flows for a large high-performance computing system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and maintain operational data flows for a large high-performance computing system
  • Ensure all data handling requirements are met for data storage, data transport, data security, and data compliance
  • Perform exploratory data analysis on raw data to clean, enrich, transform, and convert the raw data into the required formats
  • Work with various mission customers and multiple teams to coordinate on tasks needed
Requirements:
  • Experience using the Linux CLI
  • Experience implementing and maintaining operational data flows
  • Willingness to learn Apache NiFi to process and distribute data
  • Experience with Corporate data flow processes and tools
  • Experience with Corporate data security and compliance procedures and policies
  • Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (i.e. JIRA, Confluence)
Desired Skills:
  • Experience writing scripts using Bash/Python
  • Experience with time-series visualization tools such as Grafana
Qualifications:
  • An active TS/SCI with polygraph is required
  • Seven (7) years' experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required
  • Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required
