  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams, providing excellent customer service and communication.
  • Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques, participating in ongoing education and training.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital and departmental policies, procedures, and regulations, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) in the state of Maine.
  • Experience in CT scanning and diagnostic radiology, with a strong understanding of imaging principles and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and reports.

Working Conditions:

This position requires working in a fast-paced healthcare environment, with potential exposure to hazardous materials, noise levels, and very hot or cold temperatures. The ability to lift, move, and load 20-30 pounds is also required.
