As a Mountain Host at Schweitzer Mountain, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm and welcoming experience that sets the tone for their entire visit. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our guests feel valued, informed, and supported throughout their stay.

• Provide exceptional customer service to all guests, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Offer information and guidance on mountain activities, services, and amenities, ensuring that guests have a clear understanding of what Schweitzer has to offer.
• Assist guests with directions, transportation, and other logistical needs, ensuring that they are able to navigate the mountain with ease.
• Participate in various events and activities throughout the season, including festivals, concerts, and other special events.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and a cohesive guest experience.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
• Knowledge of mountain activities, services, and amenities, with a passion for sharing that knowledge with others.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, holidays, and peak periods.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and navigate uneven terrain.
