Job Summary

Knott Mechanical is seeking a highly skilled Plumbing Drainage Expert to join our team in the Greater Baltimore Area. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with our team of experts in providing top-quality commercial plumbing services.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting drain blockages and breaks in sewer and drain lines. Your expertise in operating sewer cable machines and jetters will enable you to clear and clean commercial sewer services, sewer mains, kitchen drain lines, and storm drains efficiently.

The successful candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in drain clearing and must be able to work independently and troubleshoot issues efficiently. Familiarity with Rigid K50 and Spartan 100/300 sewer machines is a plus. In addition, experience with trailer and portable jetters, removing and re-setting toilets and drain fixtures, identifying cleanouts and manholes, and ability to lift more than 50 lbs. are essential requirements.

Benefits and Salary

Key Responsibilities and Requirements
  • Operate sewer cable machines and/or jetter daily
  • Clear and clean commercial sewer services, sewer mains, kitchen drain lines, and storm drains
  • Remove and re-set plumbing fixtures as needed
  • Open manholes and cleanouts as required
  • Run other plumbing service-related calls when not clearing drains
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in drain clearing
  • Experience in setting up, replacing sewer cables, and operating sewer machines
  • Knowledge of drain-clearing methods
  • Familiarity with Rigid K50 and Spartan 100/300 sewer machines
  • Experience with trailer and portable jetters
  • Ability to lift more than 50 lbs.
  • Independent worker and self-motivated
  • Ability to learn new equipment and operate portable and trailer jetter
