Key Responsibilities:

Primary Duties:

  • Dough Preparation: Assist in the mixing of dough, adhering to recipes and maintaining high standards of quality and consistency.
  • Customer Interaction: This position involves no direct customer interaction.
  • Stock Management: Aid in managing inventory levels, including ordering and stocking ingredients and supplies, ensuring freshness and proper storage.
  • Sanitation and Safety: Uphold a clean and organized workspace, complying with health and safety regulations. Regularly clean equipment and utensils to maintain a hygienic environment.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with fellow team members to ensure seamless operations. Assist in training new staff and contribute to a positive team culture.
  • Adaptability: Be prepared to adjust to changing tasks and schedules, including early morning shifts, to meet the bakery's needs.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Previous experience in a bakery or food service setting is advantageous but not mandatory. A passion for baking and a willingness to learn are essential.
  • Decorating Skills: Experience with royal icing is a plus, though not required. Any artistic talent is welcomed.
