Electrical Engineer Opportunity
TRC Talent Solutions is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team as a Low Voltage Specialist. This role will be based in the eastern part of North Carolina, with relocation assistance available.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze customer technical specifications for Siemens Motor Control Center products and design cost-effective solutions.
- Lead project teams to create documents for customer approval and manufacturing of MCCs.
- Take ownership of project deliverables and work with application engineering, project management, sales, and customer to resolve technical issues.
- Collaborate with the factory manufacturing team to address production challenges.
- Contribute to product enhancements and process improvements.
- Support the development of Siemens products, including low voltage motor control centers and control panels.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
- 5 years of experience in a technical engineering role, with at least 2 years in a complex made-to-order manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience working with Motor Control Centers products and systems.
- Working knowledge of standard protection and control technologies used in low voltage power distribution products.
- Ability to analyze customer technical specifications and apply appropriate product solutions.
- Proven ability to create, convert, and modify drawings with Promis.e, AutoCAD Electrical, ELCAD, or Engineering Base software.
- Ability to read, understand, and evaluate electrical schematics.
- Experience working with an ERP system, preferably SAP.
- 5% travel required, optional remote work part-time.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency working with complex engineering BOMs.
