TRC Talent Solutions is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team as a Low Voltage Specialist. This role will be based in the eastern part of North Carolina, with relocation assistance available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze customer technical specifications for Siemens Motor Control Center products and design cost-effective solutions.
  • Lead project teams to create documents for customer approval and manufacturing of MCCs.
  • Take ownership of project deliverables and work with application engineering, project management, sales, and customer to resolve technical issues.
  • Collaborate with the factory manufacturing team to address production challenges.
  • Contribute to product enhancements and process improvements.
  • Support the development of Siemens products, including low voltage motor control centers and control panels.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
  • 5 years of experience in a technical engineering role, with at least 2 years in a complex made-to-order manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience working with Motor Control Centers products and systems.
  • Working knowledge of standard protection and control technologies used in low voltage power distribution products.
  • Ability to analyze customer technical specifications and apply appropriate product solutions.
  • Proven ability to create, convert, and modify drawings with Promis.e, AutoCAD Electrical, ELCAD, or Engineering Base software.
  • Ability to read, understand, and evaluate electrical schematics.
  • Experience working with an ERP system, preferably SAP.
  • 5% travel required, optional remote work part-time.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency working with complex engineering BOMs.
