About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team at Memorial Hermann Health System. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Job Summary

The Cath Lab Technologist will be responsible for performing specialized radiologic procedures, including invasive and non-invasive imaging techniques. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform radiologic procedures, including fluoroscopy, angiography, and echocardiography
  • Prepare patients for exams, explain procedures, and administer contrast media as needed
  • Position patients for optimal imaging and ensure technical quality of images
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate patient records and reports
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
  • Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT)
  • Registered Radiology Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R)
  • Basic or Advanced Life Support certification
