Quant Research and Trading Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Trader to spearhead the greenfield build-out of our Quant Research and Trading Team in Boston.

This team will focus on developing and implementing short-term to medium-frequency (intraday to weekly) strategies for our ~$6B AUM quantitative hedge fund.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the central risk book team to develop global equity trading operations
  • Forecast intraday stock returns using internal and external factors
  • Research quantitative and behavioral finance literature
  • Work cross-functionally with strategy, development, and other quantitative researchers

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in trading research with a focus on execution
  • Prior Quantitative Trading or Research experience working on Alpha Generation for intraday to weekly strategies
  • Hands-on programming experience with Python, R, or similar languages
  • Familiarity with machine learning models and statistical packages
