Position Overview:

Mollie Stone's Markets is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Produce Clerk Trainee for our Palo Alto location. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and demonstrate flexibility in handling various responsibilities on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute all tasks related to fresh fruit and vegetable preparation, sanitation, and adherence to food safety standards. Guarantee the freshness and quality of products during delivery and restocking processes. Oversee and maintain proper rotation of all fresh produce items. Update and uphold product signage and the overall appearance of the department. Provide exceptional customer service consistently.

Required Qualifications:

A genuine enthusiasm for fresh, unique food and a collaborative team spirit. Capability to assess the quality and freshness of produce by visual inspection or scent. Ability to lift weights up to 50 pounds and remain standing for up to eight hours daily. Availability for flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Candidates must be local.

Physical Demands:

Must regularly lift at least 50 lbs. Standing: Up to 8 hours daily. Walking: Up to 8 hours daily. Reaching: Up to 4 hours daily. Be prepared to wear Covid-19 related PPE as required by company policy.
