POSITION SUMMARY
The Heavy Vehicle Operator role involves the essential duty of transporting equipment and materials across various work locations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Comply with traffic laws and established transportation protocols
  • Operate company vehicles safely in accordance with State and federal DOT regulations
  • Conduct inspections and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment to ensure peak performance
  • Report any vehicle-related accidents or incidents to management without delay
  • Maintain a comprehensive truck log in alignment with State and Federal guidelines
  • Deliver materials to specified job locations
  • Efficiently manage the loading and unloading of trucks
  • Perform daily inspections of the truck
  • Effectively communicate any issues related to equipment or materials
  • Undertake additional tasks as assigned
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum age requirement of 21 years
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is preferred
  • Previous experience in the transportation of equipment and materials
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License is required
  • Ideally, prior experience in the energy services industry
  • Ability to meet all DOT standards
  • Successful completion of drug screening and background checks
  • Flexibility to accommodate scheduling demands
  • Willingness to travel across state lines
  • Competence in safely operating various vehicles both independently and collaboratively
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office applications is a plus
