MRI Scanner Operator

At RAYUS Radiology, we are seeking a skilled MRI Scanner Operator to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for operating an MRI scanner to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes. Your expertise will be essential in providing accurate and reliable results that help our physicians make informed decisions about patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate MRI scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.
- Screen patients before exams for any precautions or contraindications.
- Prepare patients for MRI procedures, explaining the process and providing support throughout the exam.
- Adjust scan parameters correctly and as needed.
- Maintain positive relationships with radiologists, referring customers, and other associates and peers.
- Follow physicians' orders precisely and conform to safety regulations to protect patients, coworkers, and yourself.
- Accurately maintain patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
- Maintain an orderly and clean work area, promoting good safety habits for patients and coworkers.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Maintain equipment in good working order, cleaning and disinfecting after each use.
- Assist with maintaining an updated MRI protocol manual and software upgrades.
- Monitor medical supply inventory.
- Assist with training new associates, providing resource and technical expertise.
Requirements:
- Experience operating MRI scanners and maintaining equipment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of radiology procedures and protocols.
