Part-Time Overnight Shift Shuttle Driver

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Shuttle Driver to join our team at Global Parking Systems LLC. As a Shuttle Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers on overnight shifts and weekends.

**Job Summary:**

This is a part-time position that requires a valid state-issued driver's license with a current address and an acceptable driving record. You must also possess a Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).

The estimated salary for this role is $16.25 per hour, which includes a shift differential of $1 per hour.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate shuttle buses and transport passengers on overnight shifts and weekends.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of bus interiors and perform regular vehicle inspections.
  • Log trip counts, assist disabled passengers, and report any accidents or incidents to the Facility Manager.
  • Courteously assist customers by answering questions and directing them to the Facility Manager if necessary.
  • Substitute for Cashiers or Valets when authorized.
  • Hold a thorough knowledge of all areas of the garage and major streets, landmarks, and freeways in the area.
  • Assist with luggage and other traveling items as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Facility Manager.

Requirements:

  • Less than High School education or one month related experience, training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid state-issued driver's license with a current address and an acceptable driving record.
  • Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information to customers and employees.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide with 10's and 100's and perform these operations using units of American money.
  • Ability to maintain a neat and clean appearance and wear a complete uniform at all times.
