Are you a skilled excavator operator looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our Utilities Department as an Excavator Operator.

Job Summary:

This is a key role within our Utilities Department, responsible for operating heavy equipment to excavate and move earth, concrete, and other materials in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct pre-shift and post-shift inspections of equipment to ensure safety and mechanical integrity
  • Operate heavy equipment to excavate, move, and grade earth, concrete, and other materials
  • Perform minor repairs and maintenance on equipment as needed
  • Assist with general labor tasks as required
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in heavy equipment operation
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • Strong safety record and ability to follow safety protocols
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
