Job Summary

Cafe Sevilla is seeking a highly skilled and attentive Cocktail Server to join our team. As a key member of our service staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing tables, and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Table Management: Ensure every guest is having an enjoyable and memorable experience at Cafe Sevilla by managing tables efficiently and effectively.
  2. Customer Service: Interact with customers by taking their orders, making recommendations, providing them with accurate bills, serving them drinks, processing payments, and supplying them with their requests in a timely manner.
  3. Payment Processing: Process all payments in accordance with Cafe Sevilla policies, including cash handling, credit card processing, and credit/ID verification procedures.
  4. Sales and Upselling: Encourage additional sales to guests by upselling drinks and bottles, offering additional bottles with appropriate pricing, and promoting table service to guests not already seated.
  5. Communication: Maintain open communication with management to ensure a smooth service experience and to inquire about pricing and discounts for additional bottles.
  6. Teamwork: Work well with coworkers and as a team to ensure a seamless service experience.
  7. Appearance and Attitude: Maintain a polished professional appearance and a positive work attitude at all times.
  8. Reporting and Maintenance: Immediately report any maintenance, security, and/or safety issues or concerns to a manager, and maintain a clean and presentable work area.
  9. Harassment and Safety: Report any instances of harassment or safety concerns to management immediately, and ensure a safe and respectful environment for all guests and staff.
  10. Process Improvement: Recommend process improvements to a manager and participate in implementing approved process improvements as appropriate.
  11. End of Shift Procedures: Properly complete all end of shift paperwork, including nightly check out, in accordance with Company Policy.
