About the Role

At Marksman Security, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team in a Patrol Position. As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining the safety and security of our clients' properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deter and prevent criminal activity on assigned properties
  • Protect property and assets from damage or theft
  • Enforce rules and regulations on assigned properties
  • Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms from a stationary position
  • Patrol areas and conduct security checks
  • Provide protection for equipment and workers in factories and offices
  • Check the credentials of vehicles and individuals coming and going from the premises
Requirements
  • At least 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must possess Level II, Noncommissioned security license (via TOPS)
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Familiarity with report writing
  • Monitoring and surveillance experience
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks
  • One year previous security experience required
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to get in and out of vehicle often
  • Ability to work flexible shifts
  • Pass background/drug tests and/or MVR
