Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the maintenance and repair of heavy equipment, including forklifts, genie lifts, and JLGs.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure equipment is properly maintained and running efficiently.
  • Lead a team of maintenance technicians to perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure maintenance activities are aligned with business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with equipment manufacturers and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective repairs.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and equipment history.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as mechanical engineering or industrial technology.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • ASE certification in heavy equipment repair.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of technicians.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols.
  • Experience with heavy equipment manufacturers, such as Hyster, Toyota, and JLG.
