Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to lead our culinary team at Harrison Senior Living Corporate. As a key member of our management team, the Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation and presentation, ensuring exceptional quality and service to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Presentation: Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of cooks and kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies and equipment as needed to ensure that the kitchen is well-stocked and equipped to meet the demands of our residents.
  • Sanitation and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Menu Planning and Development: Plan and develop menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Staff Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities for kitchen staff, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or Culinary Degree
  • Experience: 3-5 years of cooking experience, preferably in a fast-paced food environment
  • Certifications: ServSafe certification preferred
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work well under pressure, and a positive attitude
