About the Role
Baptist Health Care is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Analyst II to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will play a critical role in protecting our computer assets by establishing and documenting access, maintaining files, and working with end users to establish system access through the proper service request system.

The successful candidate will ensure proper documentation is in place for timely access to team members, vendors, and temporary staff, remove access due to immediate termination, resignation, or contract period end, maintain security files, upgrade and maintain systems, keep users informed, communicate system status, and perform periodic physical security walkthroughs and documentation.

This role involves utilizing enterprise security tools and industry frameworks to assess and manage security at multiple levels. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of emerging threats and new vulnerabilities, and be able to evaluate systems for vulnerabilities, determine risk level, and recommend mitigation options.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize enterprise security tools and industry frameworks to assess and manage security at multiple levels.
  • Review existing systems, emerging threats, and new vulnerabilities to ensure organization safety.
  • Manage security system installation, maintenance, fixes, and upgrades, including work with internal resources and vendors.
  • Identify vulnerable assets, prioritize them for patching or remediation, and detect incidents affecting BHC information systems.
  • Solicit feedback, perform project-based risk assessments, and assist the CISO in completing risk assessment action plans.
  • Educate through electronic or verbal presentations, conduct phishing awareness test campaigns, and train employees.
  • Provide guidance to junior staff, delegate tasks, support security configurations, make recommendations for best practices, and use tools to examine suspected PC infections.
  • Help resolve problems, provide technical support, prepare documentation, and communicate professionally.


Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Technology, or Cybersecurity, or High School Diploma or Equivalent with 5 years of related experience. A minimum of 4-6 years of experience as a Cybersecurity Analyst is also required.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization.
  • Troubleshooting skills in a 24/7 environment, ability to follow processes and procedures, document work in an ITSM ticketing system.
  • Extensive understanding of enterprise computer hardware, systems, infrastructure, and tools, excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
