Key Responsibilities

As a Public Area Attendant, your primary duties will include:

  • Maintaining cleanliness and order in all hotel public areas, including restrooms, hallways, and stairwells, to meet established quality standards.
  • Performing thorough cleaning tasks such as dusting furniture, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.
  • Managing the disposal of soiled linens and trash efficiently.
  • Utilizing two-way radios for effective communication to prioritize tasks.
  • Ensuring the lobby, elevators, stairways, hallways, and Front Desk area are kept clean and free of debris.
  • Regularly checking and maintaining public restrooms to ensure they are fresh and presentable for guests.
  • Addressing spots, insects, and debris, while polishing fixtures and cleaning ashtrays.
  • Delivering items to guest rooms upon request and assisting with guest room cleaning as necessary.
  • Executing various other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of a High School diploma.
  • At least one year of experience in a housekeeping role.
