Universal Health Services is seeking a dynamic and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Michael's House Treatment Center. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in promoting and restoring patients' health by completing the nursing process, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members, providing physical and psychological support to patients and families, and supervising assigned team members.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive health assessments of new clients upon admission, adhering to established level of care procedures.
- Communicate effectively with consulting medical providers to coordinate care and document referrals as necessary.
- Monitor and oversee the storage, distribution, control, preparation, and dispensing of medication in collaboration with the Pharmacy Contractor and Medical Staff.
- Prepare and maintain accurate Medication Administration Records (MARs).
- Provide patient education on medication management and usage.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
- Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
- Experience: 5 years of experience working in a medical facility, preferably in alcohol and drug treatment/mental health.
- Leadership/Management/Supervisory Experience: 2 years of supervisory experience or equivalent.
- Computer Skills: General knowledge of various computer software applications, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
