Are you a skilled Class A CDL holder looking for a challenging role in logistics? As a Truck Movement Specialist at US Foods, you will play a crucial part in our warehouse operations.

Our ideal candidate has a valid Class A CDL and at least six months of commercial driving experience. You should be comfortable working in inclement weather conditions and be able to lift, carry, push, or pull products weighing 20-80+ pounds repetitively during each shift.

We offer competitive pay starting at $28.05 per hour, with opportunities for overtime compensation and night shift differential. Additionally, you'll receive a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, pre-tax spending accounts, retirement benefits, paid time off, short-term and long-term disability, employee stock purchase plan, and life insurance.

In this role, you will:

  • Communicate with dispatchers and router for truck/trailer and door assignments
  • Maintain assigned equipment coupled
  • Move trailers between buildings as directed by the router or warehouse supervisor
  • Loading, unloading, or merging loads between environments
  • Stage shuttle trailers nightly for shuttle drivers
  • Set up trailers for backhaul with tractor and empty pallets
  • Place backhauls in correct doors to be unloaded by the warehouse
  • Ensure all equipment is paired and ready for next day's deliveries

To succeed in this position, you must be able to read and communicate in English, hold a valid Class A CDL issued by your state of residence, and have a minimum of six months of commercial driving experience.
