About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to join our team at Interim HealthCare. As a PCA, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to seniors in their homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to seniors, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and light housekeeping.
  • Assist with activities of daily living, such as meal preparation, shopping, transportation, and companionship.
  • Help with ambulation, transferring, and range of motion exercises.
  • Provide medication reminders and document client conditions.
  • Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways.
  • Participate in activities that bring clients joy, such as puzzles, games, reading, and hobbies.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least six months of experience in a healthcare role.
  • Clear background check and drug screen.
  • Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and transportation.
  • Compassionate and helping nature, good communication skills, and ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
