Job Description:

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and service. Our pharmacy technicians are the face of our pharmacy, interacting with customers and developing strong relationships with our patients.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Pharmacy Technician. In this role, you will assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including filling prescriptions, verifying medication, and processing transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including filling prescriptions, verifying medication, and processing transactions.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and service, including greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers and patients, including medical providers and other healthcare professionals.
  • Utilize pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist.

Requirements:

  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
  • Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
  • Prefer good math skills and computer skills.
  • Prefer knowledge of store inventory control and PTCB certification.
