Job Summary

The Center Director is responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and quality of education for all children within the center's care. This includes managing adherence to quality standards, developing educational curriculum, and maintaining student records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish a quality vision for the center and ensure adherence to state and local requirements.
  • Develop and implement educational curriculum, collaborating with staff to create positive learning activities.
  • Maintain student records and communicate with parents through regular updates and newsletters.
  • Manage office functions, including payroll, accounts payable and receivable, and human resources.
  • Resolve conflicts and ensure a positive experience for all staff, children, and parents.
  • Manage budget planning and review, and establish illness and emergency procedures.
  • Implement strategic plans and goals in alignment with the center's mission.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience.
  • 5 years of direct professional experience in an early childhood setting.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, technology skills, and ability to work well with others.
  • Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification, and a Bachelor's Degree in early childhood education or related field of study.
