Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers in a positive manner, ensuring a pleasant shopping experience.
  • Accurately identify various produce items and their corresponding codes.
  • Comply with all state regulations and company policies related to the sale of alcohol, tobacco, WIC, and EBT transactions.
  • Efficiently operate cash registers and adhere to money handling protocols to ensure accurate till balancing at the end of each shift.

Qualifications

  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations relevant to cash handling.
  • Strong identification skills for various produce items.
  • Enjoyment in interacting with the public and providing outstanding service.
  • Effective communication skills and a courteous attitude.
  • Exhibit professionalism and a positive outlook towards work, colleagues, and customers.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to health regulations to protect oneself and others.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Willingness to transfer to different locations as needed.
  • Physical capability to meet job demands.

Experience Requirements

  • No prior experience is required; training will be provided.
  • Preferred experience in cash handling for 6 months to 1 year is advantageous but not mandatory.

Language Proficiency

  • Basic understanding of English is essential for reading, writing, and speaking.
  • Basic knowledge of Spanish is a plus but not required.
