Job Title: Welding Inspector

At Zachry Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Welding Inspector to join our team. As a Welding Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our industrial construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and test welds to ensure they meet specifications and industry standards.
  • Conduct quality control checks on raw materials, fabricated, machined, and assembled structures.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to welders, supervisors, and other team members.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Collaborate with project management and client representatives to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
Requirements:
  • Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in welding inspection or quality control.
  • Extensive knowledge of welding processes and materials.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work at heights and in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Current Zachry or Zachry ROF'd employee.
  • Former experience working with Zachry Industrial, Inc.
  • Experience working as a welder on industrial construction projects.
